A DAM-IT Water Shutoff Valve is placed on your home’s water main. This valve controls the water that flows to the entire home and can be designated to shutoff the water automatically if a leak is detected as well as manually through your Control4 touchscreen or remotely with your smartphone. Flood sensors are placed throughout the home at high risk locations such as bathroom sinks, the kitchen freezer, laundry rooms, the water heater, or even basement windows. These sensors monitor for leaks and floods, alerting you via email or text message if a problem is detected so that you know right away.
